Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is looking to hire a Project Engineer to join their team in Chesterfield, MO.
The Project Engineer is responsible forDaily interface and coordination with planning portfolio engineers, client management, and client sponsors to develop the long-range integrated portfolio plan based on existing projects and Planning strategiesEnsure synergies across projects are incorporated into the portfolio of workAttend budget planning meetings with different client stakeholders (general managers, supervisors, etc.) and ensure the incorporation of the long-range planWork with multiple client stakeholders to determine budget year for transmission projects based on feasibility, budget, and needSupport the client in the development of the 10-year planHelp create and compile the client's rate filing for PJMReview tabletop engineering estimates for accuracy and scopeReview project change requests (scope, In-service date, etc.) and reconcile them with the existing and long-range portfolio of workWork with outage coordination to assemble a set of regional projects that do not cause conflicts including incorporating project constructability and the long-term planInformal mentoring and training of client's portfolio engineers on T&D Design and projectsInterface with the client's accounting group to establish financial setup for projectsCreate analysis & reports to assist the client in tracking, coordination, and execution of projectsBuild baseline scopes, schedules, and budgets to be released to multiple client's stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)3+ years of electric/gas planning, transmission line and/or substation experience preferredHigh attention to detail and organizationExcellent communication skills and professional etiquetteAbility to coordinate projects across multiple organizations during the project initiation
