Trillium Construction is hiring for a Lead Estimator in Woodland Hills, CA to put together estimates and bids for underground piping, wastewater, pump stations, and public works projects throughout Southern California. This is a full-time, direct-hire position paying between $120,000 - $140,000/yr, plus benefits!
Duties:Gathering quotes and prices from vendors and contractorsPreparing estimates and bids for construction projectsCommunicating with clients and architects to understand project requirementsEnsuring estimates meet project deadlines and budget constraintsReviewing project plans and specifications for accuracy and completenessIdentifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savingsParticipating in project meetings and negotiationsMaintaining accurate records of estimates, costs, and project changesStaying current with industry trends and changes in building codes and regulationsWork closely with other team members to assist with estimates and bid accuracy
Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of estimating experience in a similar industryExperience estimating on public works projects, working closely with local governments and agenciesProficient in HCSS Heavy Bid, ProContractor, Dirt Take-Off Software, and MS Office programsAbility to pass pre-employment screenings
