Requirements:Education
You should have aBachelor’s degree
in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred/ Mechatronics also considered)Experience
You need to have at least2-3 years of experience
working with projects in engineering or controls. If you’ve worked with
PLC programming
or
electrical systems , that’s a big plus!Experience with CAD/ ePLAN & computer programming languages needed.
SkillsBe good at using
computer software
like
Microsoft Excel
(to track budgets and timelines) and
Microsoft Word
(for reports and updates).Experience with
Rockwell Logix 5000
(For PLC control systems) is important.Understanding of industry standards , like safety rules and electrical codes (such as
NEC
NFPA , and
ANSI ), is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities:Design control system & program/ trouble shoot equipment.Planning Projects, & Tracking Progress.Managing the Budget, team support, & Communication.
