Aegis is looking for a mechanical engineer for a client of ours in the Chicago (60619) area. The ideal candidate has the following experience/skills-
Must Have:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)4+ years of experience working as a
mechanical engineer, project engineer- can play around with titles a bit here!Experience working in an industrial setting-
they could come from Machining, Fabrication, Welding, Machine Design, or structural design work. This person could also come from the oil, gas, mining, or paper and pulp industry.Solidworks experience or AutoCAD InventorExperience working in a hands-on environment.Project Management experience – this individual will be working on 2-3 projects at a time.Able to work within Microsoft Office
Plus’s:5+ years of experienceExperience working in a Steel Mill OR Forging EnvironmentSomeone that overseen or has experience with CAPEX projectsPLC programming controls knowledge and anything electrical that is super technical is a plus
