A medical device manufacturing company in Enfield, CT is looking to hire a 2nd shift Operator Assembler to join their team. This position is primarily responsible for assembling a range of components into finished goods across one or more production lines ensuring standard documentation, quality, and production rates are met. They will work under the direction of the Production Team Leader/Supervisor onsite, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM-2:00 AM.
What You'll Do:Assist production operators and technicians engaged in processing and product fabrication.Operates a variety of wafer fab equipment in a production environment.Manipulate fragile wafers on a regular basis (site dependent)Work with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.Make basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances, dimensions.As instructed, adjusts machines to achieve conformance with specifications and maximum yield.Perform in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements stated in the Process Control Document or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions.Perform pre/post-weld operations such as assembly and part cleaning.Perform workstation set-ups on qualified operationsMust accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelers.· Assists in packaging of finished goods as needed.Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) requirements to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality System.Maintains cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.· Takes direction within the manufacturing cell from upper-level operators assigned to that cell.Will be proficient in the task of loading components into product specific tools.
What We Need To See:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work in environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise.Capable in providing detailed information to assist sustaining engineering in determining root cause in order to identify the appropriate corrective action.Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to accurately document details
What Will Set You Apart:Microscope experience a plus.Knowledge of ISO & FDA requirements a plus.Experience with LEAN manufacturing a plus.
Hourly rate of $17.50-18.50 + $2.50 shift differential -> depending on experience level
