Director, Product Regulatory Compliance
Position Overview:Responsible for the Product Regulatory Compliance framework for assuring that the company’s products comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Works collaboratively with Legal, Compliance, Supply Chain, Quality, RD&E, Manufacturing, and other relevant groups.Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and oversee the Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC) program and its control framework for assuring the company’s products (including labeling and manuals) comply with applicable laws, regulations and standards, working collaboratively with a cross functional team involving all internal stakeholders.Coordinate with cross-functional team to ensure that product design and composition comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.Manage the environmental supply chain compliance component of PRC, including oversight of external platform and resources, coordination among internal stakeholders, facilitating communications to suppliers, and responding to inquiries from customers.Coordinate response to third-party audits and investigations.Develop and refine internal processes and systems to strengthen PRC controls, streamline PRC activities, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of PRC.Conduct risk assessments to identify potential PRC risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies for incorporation into compliance framework.Evaluate PRC framework effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives as appropriate.Establish and maintain expertise in PRC to enable excellent performance as a second-line adviser, including relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external consultants, and actively participate in industry forums.Monitor emerging laws, regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to TIC's products. Communicate changes in product regulatory requirements to appropriate stakeholders. Recommend action plans to business and departmental leadership to address emerging risk.Develop and coordinate delivery of PRC training to enhance organizational awareness and understanding.
