Civil Project/Design Engineer

You must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, EIT or Professional Engineer Licensure, and a minimum of five years of design experience in the preparation of developing improvement plans for residential, commercial, and public works projects. This is a full-time role with an annual compensation range of $95,000 to $115,000, depending on experience. KWC Engineers is a civil engineering firm providing consulting, planning, surveying, and other engineering construction services to clients in the private and public sectors. Job Duties:Lead the drafting and preparation of grading, street improvements, and underground infrastructure plans while adhering to all standards, requirements, and specifications.Possess advanced proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Civil Design, H20Map Sewer, and Water.Demonstrate strong technical expertise in engineering concepts, practices, and procedures, plan reviews, and mentoring of junior staff.Manage technical aspects of projects with a focus on water, sewer, drainage, and Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) reports for land development initiatives.Support the Project Manager in client and agency interactions, aiming to foster enduring relationships and mutual respect.
Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.EIT or Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting.Possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently and take actions to expedite the successful completion of assigned projects.Exhibit excellent technical and communication skills, including proficient report writing abilities.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of organizational directives, programs, standards, and administrative procedures.Exercise sound judgement and initiative in interpreting policies and planning and executing important projects.
