Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and scale our development infrastructure at CV.AI. This role involves managing Unix-based environments with a strong sysadmin focus, scaling environments from proof-of-concept (POC) to full-scale deployment and ensuring high system availability. The ideal candidate will have significant Unix proficiency and experience optimizing for performance and reliability in resource-constrained environments.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain scalable Unix-based infrastructure for development, testing, and production, with the capability to expand POC environments to full enterprise deployment.Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools, optimizing workflows for scalability and efficiency.Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, optimizing Unix environments for high availability and security.Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless transitions from development to production.Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible, with a focus on Unix system automation.Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), enabling efficient scaling across Unix-based environments.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.Proven experience with Unix/Linux systems administration in a DevOps capacity, including proficiency in shell scripting and command-line utilities.Strong background in scaling POC environments to full-scale, production-ready deployments.Proficiency with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.Scripting experience in Python and Bash.Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and best practices for scaling in Unix environments.Familiarity with infrastructure as code and containerization practices for efficient, scalable deployments.
