Insight Global is looking for an

Project Manager
to work in office in
St. Petersburg, FL , with experience managing medical device (OR Aviation, Automotive, regulated electronic devices, etc.)
new product development engineering . This is a long term 12-24
month long W2 contract position
with possible additional extensions.
Job Summary:This person will be the direct and critical link to our OEM customers and our Business Unit team and will be responsible for developing/managing budgets, schedules and design documentation for frequent status update reporting and tracking. Will be supporting the NPD of a complex electromechanical medical device, similar to the size and function of a small mini refrigerator.
Minimum Requirements:Must be committed to working a W2 contractAbility to work onsite in St. Petersburg, FLBachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or similarMinimum of 2-10 years of NPD Project Management (or NPD Project Engineer/Project Coordinator) experience with electromechanical devices from an early concept stage to manufacturing launch.Minimum 5-10 recent working experience in a regulated industry such as Medical Device (highly preferred), Aviation, Automotive product developmentExperience managing projects through its life cycle (additional experience transitioning a product form Design to Manufacturing is a plus).Demonstrated experience managing design projects as part of a contract design and engineering organization is desired.Any working experience with ISO or CFR standards is a plusPrevious New Product Introduction Experience is a plusPM experience with a prototyping team is a plus
