Azure DevOps Engineer - (CI/CD Pipelines, YAML, ARM/Bicep, MLOps Pipelines) - Hybrid in Chicago, IL
Optomi, in partnership with one of the world’s leading law firms, is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to fulfill a contract opportunity with a client based in Chicago, IL.
This position will support an internal team in onboarding and setting up critical Azure DevOps infrastructure. This position will also act as a stop-gap solution while internal resources are fully trained, with the potential to transition into a contract-to-hire role depending on the evolving needs of the business.

Apply Today If Your Background Includes:Proven experience in Azure DevOps tools and services, including setting up and managing CI/CD pipelinesHands-on experience with template-based deployments using Azure Resource Manager, Bicep, or TerraformSolid understanding of MLOps and experience setting up machine learning workflows in AzureExperience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or BashStrong understanding of source control management using GitFamiliarity with DevOps best practices including monitoring, logging, and continuous feedback loopsStrong communication skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor internal resources
RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with internal teams to manage and implement Azure DevOps solutions.Hands-on template-based deployments of infrastructure and applications in AzureDesign, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and release processSetup and manage MLOps pipelines to enable scalable machine learning operationsTroubleshoot and resolve any issues related to deployment, automation, and monitoring within the Azure DevOps environmentEnsure the Azure DevOps setup is aligned with best practices for security, scalability, and operational efficiencyProvide mentoring and training to internal teams to support ongoing Azure DevOps initiativesSupport and guide the team in implementing best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep
