Position Overview/Responsibilities for the OMS Team Lead:
Oversee the team responsible for the development, deployment, and optimization of OMS solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.Design and implement scalable OMS solutions that support retail operations, enhancing order processing, inventory management, and customer service.Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations to integrate OMS with other systems (ERP, CRM, POS) and ensure seamless functionality across platforms.Establish best practices for OMS development and implementation, optimizing system performance and alignment with business objectives.Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring OMS initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.Identify and recommend enhancements to existing OMS processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.Required Skills for OMS Team Lead:
Minimum of 7 years in OMS architecture, design, and implementation, specifically within the retail sector.SME in IBM Sterling development and architectureProficient in OMS platforms, such as IBM Sterling.Proven experience leading technical teams, with strong project management skills and the ability to guide cross-functional projects.Deep understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, order processing, and omnichannel capabilities.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
