Scientist I
Pay:
$35-45/hr. depending on experienceTerms:
Contract to HireSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmMust have extensive experience with tissue staining multiplex panel; (need to have tissue based experience, not cell based)
Lead Immunofluorescence tissue based IHC Image based projects through assay design and development, validation, and execution for biomarker detection in oncology trial.Assay design, optimizing antibody and condition for experiments, independently and accurately and presenting dataTroubleshoot and correct scientific issues/problemsDeliver high quality output while build efficiency into improving productivity metricsWork collaboratively with other technical teams in resource sharing and providing technical expertiseTrain and coach junior staff in lab techniques and performing assayAssist with writing, reviewing and editing contract and grant applications/proposalsAssist with writing and publishing papers, abstracts, to maintain the scientific standard and image of the companyIdentify, update and implement emerging laboratory techniquesPresent completed work to clients, or at appropriate scientific meetings
Education/Experience:Ph. D. Cellular/Cancer Biology, Immunology, Stem Cell, Fetal Cell Biology or related fields and 3 years’ relevant laboratory experienceStrong expertise with CTC based immunofluorescent and tissue-based immunohistochemistry (IHC or mIF) applications, ie Opal staining is a plusExperience with Halo analysis software, and Akoya technologies image microscopy analysis is a must or competitor technologyExperience with GT450, Lecia Bondrx and microscope is a plusProven skills in monitoring cell-mediated immunity through cell-based assays, flow cytometry, as well as, ELISpot, multiplexed cytokine analysis such as Mesoscale and/or Luminex are optionalDeep understanding of current GLP and/or ISO/CAP/CLIA standardsExperience with Halo analysis softwareExperience in FISH, ISH, CTC, oncology, immunology or related fields with focus on cellular analysisFamiliar with GraphPad, Prism software
