for their Long Island, New York Office.ResponsibilitiesCoordination with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical serviceElectrical system analysis and calculationsDesign of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to loadDesign of fire alarm systems and low voltage systemsService room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding, and lighting protectionPrepare design narrative and feasibility reportsElectrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch listsUse engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e., Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering10 years of relevant design experiencePE License in New York requiredAble to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressureAbility to multi-task on several projects at onceStrong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively collaborate during the design and construction processAdditional InformationThey offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.Compensation: Minimum $100,000; Maximum: $170,000. The range provided is the salary that our client, in good faith, believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
