Professional Land Surveyor
We are seeking a self-motivated Professional Land Surveyor to join our multi-disciplinary consulting firm, who has a desire to be a part of our growing land surveying and engineering company, and has the following skills and qualifications:
Complete various surveying tasks assigned by a Project Manager and work under their direct supervision.Work independently with minimal oversight, with all work being reviewed by the Project Manager.Performs field surveying or construction staking services, including construction observation, ifneeded.No physical limitations to restrict the ability to work through inclement weather or terrain, remainstanding or walking for several hours at a time or lift 40 pounds.Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and other survey software to perform topographic survey, constructionlayout and staking, development of certified survey maps, plats of survey and ALTA surveys.Ability to operate Robotic Total Station/GPS and data collection systems.Communicate with project teams in all offices.Have the ability to direct staff on project specific tasks, communicate professionally with clients,peers, and agencies on project specific tasks.Responsible for assisting in tracking project budgets.Assist in billing obligations as needed.Have the ability to provide overtime to meet project deadlines.Assist in any other assigned tasks in support of the company team.
Qualifications and education requirements;Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in surveying from an accredited institution4 or more years of experienceProfessional Land Surveyor License/Registration is preferred but not requiredValid Driver’s License
