OVERVIEWVaco is seeking a highly skilled
Azure DevOps Engineer
for a direct hire role. The
Azure DevOps Engineer
will lead the enhancement, maintenance, and automation of CI/CD pipelines within Azure. This critical role will support efficient deployments, robust testing, and continuous integration practices across our engineering teams. As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure system performance, security, and efficiency align with our broader business goals. The ideal candidate will offer 4 - 5 years of experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer and have proficiency in PowerShell and JavaScript Scripting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPipeline Management
Design, implement, and manage Azure DevOps pipelines to support seamless CI/CD, improving efficiency and deployment speed across projects.
Automation & Optimization
Use automation tools to streamline processes and support scalable development and deployment practices.
Systems Testing
Conduct security, performance, and availability testing to identify risks and optimize system resilience.
Documentation & Process Development
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all CI/CD and troubleshooting processes, ensuring clarity and consistency for cross-functional teams.
Process Enhancement
Analyze and redesign workflows, incorporating updates and fixes as needed to improve system functionality and efficiency.
Technical Support
Provide level 2 support for technical issues, implementing solutions or escalating as necessary.
Agile Collaboration
Actively participate in Agile planning, managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables through epics, features, and user stories.
Stakeholder Coordination
Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, providing regular updates and project insights.
REQUIREMENTSExperience
3-5 years as an Azure DevOps Engineer, with a solid understanding of Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud Services.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and PowerShell.
Project Management
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience managing epics, features, and user stories in an Agile environment.
Communication Skills
Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
NICE-TO-HAVECertification
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Knowledge of Dynamics 365
In our commitment to transparency throughout the hiring process, we provide a target annual base salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) experience, work location, and skills.
