Financial Consolidation, Planning, and Analysis
Manager will be responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation of financial data from multiple entities and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Swiss GAAP). This position will be located at our
Lincoln, RI
office.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Consolidation:Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Reconcile and eliminate intercompany transactions and balances.Utilize consolidation software (e.g., LucaNet, Hyperion) to automate and streamline processes.Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, US GAAP, or other standards.Perform reconciliations and variance analysis on consolidated results.Maintain and enforce financial consolidation procedures.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning them with company goals.Consolidate budgets and forecasts across all entities.Prepare rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans.Analyze performance versus budget/forecast and provide insights on variances.Conduct scenario analysis and adjust forecasts for changing conditions.Develop financial models to support planning and decision-making.
Strategic Analysis:Provide actionable insights through financial analysis, highlighting trends and risks.Report on key financial metrics and offer recommendations for improvements.
Systems and Process Improvements:Lead process improvements and automation of consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting.Enhance financial software systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.5 -8 years of experience in the distribution/manufacturing industry is preferred.Advanced proficiency in financial consolidation and planning software (e.g., LucaNet, Hyperion, or OneStream).Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.Detail-oriented with a strong team player mindset.
Preferred Skills:Exceptional analytical skills with acute attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
