Role OverviewThe Director, Operations (COE) will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing operations across the enterprise. Reporting to the President, this position will be responsible for integrating and coordinating operations functions and processes with business goals, enhancing equipment efficiency, and driving strategic decisions to support the company's growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee manufacturing operations to ensure alignment with strategic company goals, including safety, quality standards, and operational efficiencyImplement and refine best practices in maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptimeLead strategic business planning initiatives and build reliable capacity modelsImplement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiativesOptimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsManage and direct automation and process improvement goalsBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations teamImplement and own processes, KPIs, and scorecards to drive functional accountabilityCollaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to align with common goalsDevelop and implement effective recruitment, training, and retention plansChampion the adoption of new technologies and process improvements
QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)10+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing/management rolesBeverage manufacturing experience a huge plusProven experience in a senior operational role within the manufacturing industryStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality management systemsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven track record of achieving financial and operational targetsAbility to establish, measure, and hold individuals accountable for performance expectationsStrong conflict resolution skills and the ability to constructively address delicate issuesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
CompensationSalary range: $150,000 - $190,000, depending on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planAdditional benefits eligible after 90 days of employment
