OSEH Inc. is currently looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Chicago, Illinois.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relatedMust be an EIT with 3-5+ years of experience in the transportation engineering marketplaceMust be local to the Chicagoland area.Working knowledge of industry safety standards, guidelines, and specification codesMust be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.Must have experience with CADD/Design software (MicroStation/Openroads and AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage, review, and assist with the production of design plans, schedules, reports, calculations, estimates and specifications for consistency with work scope.Assignments will include Pedestrian Safety Reviews, Roadway plan and profiles, Drainage plans, Maintenance of Traffic Plans, Pavement marking/signage plans, and more.QA/QC: Perform quality control procedures at different project milestones to ensure submitted plans and documents adhere to standards, specifications, codes, and client requirements.Other duties as assigned
