As a
VP Financial Planner , you will be responsible for executing wealth management strategies that foster strong, enduring client relationships and high client loyalty. You will be working with branches private wealth clients and helping to cultivate those relationships and establish additional clients with referrals. You will serve as a subject matter expert and work with other Financial Consultants, Planners and other VP Financial Consultants in the branch implementing strategies that will be effective for their clients’ planning process. You will also work with branch members on cultivating leads for your private wealth book of business. You will help them with navigating and diving deep into clients’ situations and implementing solutions.Please note we are seeking someone in the Houston/Galleria area and the Greater Houston/The Woodlands area. This is not a role that can be done from another state.
Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients and their families through extraordinary emotional intelligence (EQ) skills.Leverage knowledge of behavioral economics and family psychology to tailor wealth management strategies that align with clients' goals.Develop and execute comprehensive wealth management plans, incorporating key elements such as Cash Flow Analysis, Investment Strategy, Retirement Planning, Income Protection, Asset Protection, Tax Strategies, and Family Assistance.Guide and encourage clients in implementing financial plans, ensuring they align with long-term goals and appropriate solutions.Stay current on investment and portfolio management theory, accounting principles, global market characteristics, and the full range of investment products (e.g., equity and fixed income portfolios, separately handled accounts).Communicate market trends and factors affecting investment strategies, providing regular updates to clients and associates.Demonstrate a successful sales history in fiduciary planning and asset management, thriving in high-volume, high-priority environments.Collaborate across the organization to achieve results, working effectively with other team members and leaders.The Daily:Serving as a Trusted Adviser
Acting as the primary adviser, counselor, and coach to clients with significant wealth and complex needs.
Delivering Unbiased Expertise
Offering impartial wealth planning and investment strategies across a wide range of financial planning needs.
Utilizing Advanced Planning Tools
Leveraging sophisticated planning software to create, analyze, and deliver customized financial plans.
Implementing Client-Centric Solutions
Guiding clients in executing financial plans with solutions that align with their individual goals.
Building Relationship-Centric Practices
Developing deep, trusted, and lasting relationships across generations, helping families navigate life stages and wealth transfer decisions with dedication.
Enhancing Client Loyalty and Growth
Driving client loyalty, increasing share of wallet, and generating referrals from satisfied customers.
Promoting Collaboration and Teamwork
Working closely with peers and sharing best practices to foster a culture centered on planning excellence.
Expertise:Bachelor’s Degree highly preferredCFP highly preferredSeries 7, 63, 65, 66 and insurance licenses required prior to hireRequired: 5+ years’ industry experience in financial services or a related fieldRequired: 3-5 years of financial planning experience, 5+ years preferredProven track record of high client happiness and dedication. Proven track record of financial planning engagements and implementing solutions (e.g. financial plans / mentorship delivered, handled money, asset consolidation and retention, etc.)
