Create and optimize a high-frequency trading platform, ensuring efficient collection of quotes and trades while expertly disseminating orders to global exchanges.Lead Development Initiatives:
Oversee development sprints and release cycles to ensure robust access to live and historical market data.Minimize Latency:
Utilize advanced network and systems programming techniques to optimize platform performance and reduce latency.Develop Analytical Tools:
Create systems that provide easy access to historical market data, trading simulations, and tools for pattern analysis.Enhance Risk Management:
Build essential risk-management and performance-tracking tools that support strategic decision-making.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or a related field.Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming using C++.A passion for crafting in-house trading systems that are both robust and lightning-fast.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java, Python, Perl, Bash, or Shell scripts is a plus.Practical experience with Linux systems.Previous exprience working at hedge fund/trading firm is a huge plus!Compensation & Benefits:The anticipated annual base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $285,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
