Automation Control Engineer

Travel : 30%Essential Job Functions:Machine tending automation system cell controller designCNC machine tool, robot, washer, gage/CMM, marker, etc. automation equipment interfacingElectrical wiring, troubleshooting and various automation peripherals setupProgram PLC/HMI (Allen-Bradley preferred), robot (Fanuc) and vision (iRvision or Cognex)Perform automation cell runoff at factory and customer sitePrepare detailed design specification and documentationCustomer training and technical supportOther duties assigned as necessaryMinimum Requirements:Bachelor or equivalent degree in EE/ME/CS EngineeringFamiliar with manufacturing automation/industrial robotic systemStrong electrical design, wiring and troubleshooting capabilitiesProficient in PLC/HMI/Robot/Vision programmingProficient in mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshootingFamiliar with major industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, etc.)Familiar with safety circuit and safety relay/controller configurationAbility to learn various new automation technologyStrong communication skills including read & write technical documentsWork Environment:A general office environment will be experienced.
