Position Summary:As an Infrastructure Engineer, the purpose of this role will be to assist in the sound delivery of technical services for the organization and its clients. You will be part of a team supporting on premise and hosted environments that delivers services to the organization's users and their clients.This position assists with designing, implementation, monitoring and performing optimization of all data networks that comprise the corporate LAN/WAN/WiFi/VOICE and Edge configurations.Additionally, this position will assist in designing, architecture, installation and maintenance of the infrastructure and environments including but not limited to the following: DMZ Web, FTP and MS-SQLservers, Exchange and cloud-based services, and DR replicated services.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:Install, maintain, and monitor Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and WiFi technology.Support point to point WAN technology and LAN topologies and deployments.Assist with architect, design and implementation of network security policies, procedures, VPN and ASA/PIX firewall.Design and maintain accurate and concise network documentation.Troubleshoot, Implement, and administer common TCP/IP based services, including but not limited to DNS/DHCP, HTTPs, FTP, SSH and SNMP.Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the organizations current and future requirements.Assist in the Network and Infrastructure implementation and support of virtual environments using VMware and Cloud Services (Amazon/AWS and Azure).Assist team to build, deploy and administer Windows 2008/2012 servers, IIS configuration including setting up web/ftp sites, SMTP configuration, user access management and App poolmanagement.Support configuration maintenance which includes identifying, testing and applying all pertinent service packs and fixes, and applying security patches based on vendor notifications.Maintain backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions. Create and maintain disaster recovery procedures and conduct tests. Implement replication technologies for seamless failover.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree plus at least two years of related experience; or at least four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelors degree in Computer Technology or related technical discipline is highly desired.Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, or VMware certifications are a plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Advanced comprehension of the OSI Model and its application for troubleshooting.Understanding of Network Protocols and technologies such as, STP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, 802.1XKnowledge and experience implementing Access Control Lists (ACLs)Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security).Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2008/2012, IIS, Clustering, and Exchange.Knowledge of VMware virtualization platform.Strong technical and computer skills.Ability to coordinate day to day activities for assigned projects.Ability to respectfully communicate with team and project stakeholders and to effectivelycollaborate within and across teams.Must be an innovate thinker.Strong customer focus with sense of urgency.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Must be a fast learner with a genuine interest in learning new technologies and skills.Travel is required at 5% of the time.
