The application offers Inventory management, custom reporting, analytics, Camera's tied with your point of sale, EDI, and more. It serves independent stations, franchises, brand names, and distributors with two comprehensive modules accessible on computers and smartphones.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer at Petro Outlet. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing both front-end and back-end features, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and collaborating with the team to design and launch new features. This role is based in Tampa, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. The expectation is 2x/week in office at our Westshore location.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience working as a Node.js/ React developer or similar roleStrong proficiency in JavaScript and its frameworks/libraries (such as Express.js), preferably Typescript and GraphQLExperience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL), preferably Postgres and RedisFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectureKnowledge of containerization and deployment tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentOptimize application performance for maximum speed and scalabilityImplement security and data protection measuresConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersStay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesContributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile
