The successful candidate will be a hands-on expert in visual design and will work closely with a team of designers, marketing, copywriters, developers and others to elevate GNC's internal brands and marketing programs. You will be responsible for bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals. Creative problem-solving skills, pixel perfect precision, an appreciation for creative strategy and mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite are a must.What You'll Do:This is a Full-Time Salary PositionThe Art Director -is the Associate Creative Director's lead creative resource and is responsible for coming up with and driving the creative vision of the GNC brand. This role will work closely with internal cross-functional teams to translate key marketing messages and strategy into innovative visual communication to consumers. Highly in touch with current trends and culture, this person is a key creator of the look and feel of our campaigns. They will also help mentor, lead and art-direct designers and production artists on various projects to ensure GNC's brand positioning is well developed and consistent.Take a leading role in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; generate creative concepts and high level design solutions that support creative marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.Mentor and lead junior team members and direct their designs ensuring their work meets the brief and ladders up to GNC creative standards and goalsCreate innovative marketing communications consistent with brand and creative standards.Concept, research, and design marketing collateral necessary for all team areas including outdoor print collateral, advertising, direct mail, billboards, event marketing, military, franchise, logos, presentations and corporate identity components and more.Create a wide range of marketing materials that promote, support and build the GNC brand; this includes but is not limited to: high level, holistic marketing campaigns (ensuring cohesion across print, in-store, direct mail, social/digital, email), Branding and Event Marketing.Serve as a hands-on designer in the creative process; ensure that the creative execution supports the creative brief, brand and business strategy.Collaborate with Creative, Production, Marketing, Merchandising, Legal and Scientific Affairs teams and outside vendors throughout process on all projects.Ensure that the creative solution fulfills the strategic vision devised by the team into effective visual communication that helps drive sales and marketing results.Display authority, initiative and the ability to develop and manage all of your projects from start to finish, knowing timelines, budget and all other important communication necessary to complete the design.Additional duties as assignedEnvironmental Factors & Working Schedule:Hybrid work environment, 2 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hearSedentary work. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
