At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:As a Surveillance Assistant Manager, you will supervise the daily operations of the surveillance department, playing a crucial role in maintaining the security and compliance of our vibrant casino. Your keen eye and alertness will help detect suspicious activity and procedural violations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:Monitor surveillance feeds to detect any suspicious activity or procedural errors, communicating findings to management and relevant departments
Oversee shift operations, maintaining schedules and supervising Operators and Lead Operators to ensure thorough documentation of incidents
Report equipment repairs, maintain video file evidence, and monitor various areas
Foster team development by assisting with training and development, creating methods to educate staff on gaming procedures and regulations
Partner closely with the Gaming Control Board and other agencies, while maintaining strict confidentiality on all property-related matters
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:You possess familiarity with gaming surveillance regulations and an extensive understanding of casino games, including rules, odds, and potential cheating methods
You're an effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills in English to interact with diverse stakeholders
You have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for all guests and staff
You have a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a bustling casino environment
You're a leader who has worked in a surveillance or loss prevention setting for two years or more
