Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead our Environmental group in New York State! This individual will manage, direct and supervise the work efforts of assigned staff and coordinate the technical and managerial direction provided by Management regarding scope, schedule, quality and budget of projects. Responsible for monitoring and assisting in achieving department, division, and corporate financial measures. Demonstrate an understanding of Colliers Engineering & Design's general business models and applicable discipline business model including project revenue/profitability, liabilities, etc.Demonstrate the ability to combine advanced business knowledge with identified relationship management competencies for continued future business development.Display advanced project planning and development skills for general projects, programs, teams including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, etc.Encourage and promote practices and behaviors in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations governing proper business conduct.Demonstrate knowledge and awareness to identify contract and proposal language and looks/format/inclusion etc. that identifies risk and reduces liability to CED.Possess a complete understanding of CED's organizational Strategic Plan and Initiatives.Apply the ability to communicate detailed instructional steps of assignments and direction to team members.Work with clients and contractors to properly execute project deliverables.Effectively communicate constructive feedback for employee development.Display advanced project planning and development skills for general projects, programs, teams including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, etc.Enforce and ensure compliance with CED's policies, procedures, and programs.Exemplify and promote professionalism.Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the multiple disciplines in which CED operates and services CED provides.Demonstrate innovative problem-solving skills on complex issues, multi-discipline projects, etc.Ensure resources are accessible by staff.Apply advanced judgement skills (form/offer conclusions and takes actions that consider facts/data/experience, resources, constraints, etc.) in all areas of work (determining the need to involve others, how to communicate, etc.) i.e. professional judgment.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science (or related field) from an accredited higher education institute.10 + years of professional experience leading projects and facilitating teams within the Environmental Engineering field.Prior experience as a Project Manager in the Consulting field preferred.40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.8-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Supervisor Certification helpful.OSHA 10-Hour Safety & Health Standards for Construction preferred.Willingness to undertake training as necessary to fill environmental needs.Technical writing skills required through previous experience working with state agencies.Travel 50% primarily within state.Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.Compensation: $122,500 to $156,200 per year (depending on qualifications)What We Offer
