We are seeking a dedicated
Physician Assistant (PA)
to join our
Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVSICU)
team on a
full-time night shift . This role involves providing high-level care to critically ill patients following cardiovascular surgeries, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in the CVSICU during the night shift, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of postoperative cardiovascular patients.Collaborate with attending physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.Perform procedures and interventions as required, such as central line placements, arterial lines, and intubation.Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide patient education and support.Participate in rounds and contribute to the development of patient care strategies.Ensure seamless care during the overnight shift, maintaining continuity and communication with daytime teams.
Qualifications:Master's degree as a Physician Assistant.Active, unrestricted PA license and certification.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in critical care or cardiovascular medicine (preferred).Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Availability to work full-time night shifts.
