This role offers significant responsibility, including opportunities to argue motions, conduct depositions, participate in trials, and handle other essential legal tasks.Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Propound and respond to discovery requests.Prepare for and participate in law and motion practice.Take and defend depositions of witnesses.Argue motions in court and participate in hearings.Assist in trial preparation and provide trial support.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Manage a caseload with minimal supervision.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar of California.3-5 years of litigation practice experience.Experience with Labor & Employment law is a plus.Strong academic background and exceptional research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work and professional ethics.
