Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microbiologist to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical company. This is a 2-year contract position based in Arizona, requiring on-site presence 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in aseptic facilities and a strong background in microbiological techniques and practices.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct microbiological testing and analysis in an aseptic environment.Perform routine environmental monitoring and sterility testing.Develop and validate microbiological methods and procedures.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot and resolve microbiological issues in a timely manner.Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.Proven experience working in aseptic facilities.Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, including sterility testing, environmental monitoring, and microbial identification.Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USP, cGMP).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
