A law firm is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, specifically in trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and other complex commercial litigation. The candidate must be admitted to the California Bar and possess excellent academic and professional credentials.Duties:Represent clients in trademark, copyright, trade secret, and other complex commercial litigation.Handle litigation before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and/or International Trade Commission (ITC).Conduct legal research and analysis on various intellectual property and commercial litigation issues.Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in federal and state courts.Advise clients on IP strategies, risk assessment, and litigation avoidance.Conduct and manage discovery, including taking and defending depositions.Prepare cases for trial, including developing case strategies, preparing witnesses, and drafting trial briefs.Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.Provide counsel on IP issues related to business transactions and contracts.Stay current with developments in IP law and related legal areas to provide the most effective advice and representation.Requirements:Must be admitted to the California Bar.Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Must have outstanding academic credentials.Strong background in trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and complex commercial litigation.Experience with USPTO, TTAB, FTC, and/or ITC preferred.Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Membership in good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in legal research and writing.Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.Proficient with legal research tools and technology.Experience:5-7 years of experience in trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and other complex commercial litigation, with some experience before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Federal Trade Commission and/or International Trade Commission preferred.
