Overview
As the Relationship Manager, you will develop, manage, and retain client relationships in the Mexican or Brazilian market. You will be responsible for the acquisition of assets through expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new relationships for the Bank. Your primary focus is on growth - increasing “wallet share” through cross-selling and attraction of new clients and identifying sales initiatives based on expert knowledge of the market, industry, and Wealth Management’s capabilities (products and services). You will be actively involved in new business development (including identifying cross-sell opportunities) and are focused on building a prospect client-base and identifying referral sources both internally and externally. As the Relationship Manager you will offer value-added client solutions and demonstrate the ability to “close the deal”; you will have an understanding of capital markets and the use in wealth preservation and a technical skill set focused on comprehensive wealth management.

What You’ll Do
Deliver solutions to UHNW clients in the Latin America region. Design and implement a marketing strategy aimed at growing current Private Banking relationships as well as cultivating new business. Develop a sales and marketing plan for each client and prospect.
Develop a base of prospective clients through referrals and expand market share. Respond to client needs by maintaining a calling program, reviewing the plan periodically and monitoring new business results against assigned revenue objectives. Introduce product specialists to enhance client servicing when appropriate. Cross-sell other products and services offered by the Bank.
Ensure that current clients and prospects meet the Bank’s client suitability standards while adhering to all Bank policies and procedures. Maintain ongoing high level of due diligence on all clients and prospects. Open and close accounts ensuring that the proper documentation has been obtained.
Cultivate client relationships and proactively find solutions to meet client financial needs and objectives. Maintain and improve profitability of existing client relationships. Maintain ongoing client satisfaction. Maintain Private Banking standards for Service Quality. Identify client issues and escalate to management as appropriate. Provide constructive feedback to appropriate product, service, and operational areas. Establish and maintain open lines of communications with all areas of the Bank.
How You’ll Lead
Review client holdings relative to objectives and act as a trusted financial advisor by presenting diversified strategies utilizing the full array of Private Banking products and services.
Meet financial goals based on targets set forth for its market of coverage. Manage annual asset, revenue, and expense budget to ensure that financial targets are met.
Skills You’ll Need
Extensive experience as Relationship Manager in a Private Bank covering LATAM clients.
Must be fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese - Any other language is a strong plus.
In-depth knowledge of all the Private Bank’s products and services including the credit policies, guidelines and procedures. Complete understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements in marketing the Private Bank’s products and services.
Strong knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
Strong sales and marketing abilities.
Skills That Will Help You Excel
MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
Able to work with a culturally diverse workforce and client base.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate good time management skills.
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Miami office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Miami is $160,000 to $300,000.
