The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $149,000 - $186,000.JOB SUMMARY:Coordinates activities between several transmission and distribution project teams across ME service territory by managing resource requirements, priorities, investment plans, project execution strategy, and internal/external resource requirements with focus on safety and reliability.Coordinate the execution of Network Automation investment plans and achievement of projected benefits for Avangrid Networks and their customers.Set general criteria to ensure an efficient execution of Network Automation roll-out plans.Analyze and implement the required processes transformations to guarantee an effective integration and optimal exploitation of the whole digital model.Responsibility includes meeting corporate goals for capital and contribution investment, and energization of projects for Construction Work in Process.Must manage team performance to maximize the effectiveness of capital budget considering the environment operating efficiency, regulatory, CWIP and operational needs.Must work collaboratively with multiple departments within Avangrid Networks including Planning, Process and Technologies, Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Procurement, and others.Represents the company in regulatory proceedings and public forums.Executes management approvals and human resources responsibilities for project team personnel. Coordinate activities of multiple project units. Facilitates the work of external contractors and other internal business areas.Holds contractors accountable for performance. Holds project teams accountable for results. Provides technical advice to senior management when required.MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of Responsibilities):Oversees internal project unit managers. Sets team goals and strategic direction to align with Quality Management System methodology and undertakes action plans, program management, and team assignments to accomplish goals. Provides technical support, guidance, coaching and counseling toward effective performance and appraises individual performance. Develops organization performance measures, initiates actions to enhance performance, reviews work processes, systems, procedures, and practices, and directs changes to improve productivity, quality, and control costs.Proactive approach to overseeing work, measures progress and takes actions to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved. Initiates actions to ensure compliance with project management and quality management processes and procedures. Assures that substation & distribution network programs & projects are completed within the approved scope, schedule, and budget.Strong planning background with project & program management emphasis to take the project from initiation to final close out keeping intact the scope schedule and budget.Interprets and administers company policies and procedures. Plans and implements training and development of department personnel. Determines resource needs and obtains approval for resource requirements. Develops and controls team's budget. Recommends promotions, personnel changes, budgets, organizational changes, and company policies.Coordinates with other departments, consultants, attorneys, utilities, regulatory agencies, government agencies, and major customers. May represent the company and testify in regulatory hearings or at Federal, State, or local agency or municipal meetings.Considers innovative ways to undertake work, promoting automation and efficiencies in day-to-day work streams.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree with 10 years relevant management experience required.Engineering or technical degree preferred. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum 3 years program management experience of managing programs in a utility environment of $10M and above.Skills/Abilities:Effective leadership skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Team focused.Results oriented.Certifications:Project Management Professional preferred.Competency Requirements:It is preferred that for this job, the candidate fulfills the requirements in terms of levels indicated below.1.
