Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The warehouse worker contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Warehouse workers in this role perform a range of general and specific warehouse tasks that can be easily learned on the job such as receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading products.
Responsibilities
Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
Order picking off paper sheets for next day purchase orders/work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for shipment.
Load finished product onto trucks (Rice, Flour, Cups, Packages, etc.).
Unload products from trucks and containers, and stock them in the designated area.
Responsible for quality control to ensure no damaged products are sent out or stored.
Operate within standard operating procedures.
Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.
Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience working in a warehouse.
Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack (highly preferred).
Ability to work in different temperature-controlled departments (Freezer, Deli Refrigerator, and Room Temperature).
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand on feet all day.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions correctly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Attendance is very important; call-outs need to be 48 hours in advance to get other employee coverage.

Work Environment
Clean distribution warehouse with a total of 5 people. Drivers are out most of the days doing deliveries. The typical work week is Monday-Friday (standard 40 hours per week) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
