The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional academic credentials, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.Duties:Manage patent prosecution matters, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Provide strategic counsel on patent portfolio development and management.Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses, due diligence reviews, and landscape analyses.Advise clients on IP strategy and protection, including patentability and infringement issues.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop comprehensive IP strategies aligned with business goals.Handle IP litigation support and proceedings as needed.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).3+ years of experience focusing on patent prosecution and IP strategy at a law firm or in-house legal department.Proven track record in managing patent portfolios and providing strategic IP counsel.Strong understanding of patent law, including patentability, infringement, and licensing.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team player with a client-focused approach.Education and Certifications:Undergraduate degree or advanced degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer sciences, or a related field is required.JD from an accredited law school.Skills:Proficiency in conducting patent searches and analyses.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to clients and colleagues.Experience with IP management software and databases is a plus.
