Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.As a National Sales Trainer, you will design, develop, and implement sales training programs relating to disease state, ADC Products, selling skills and competitive products. This role will support training programs including but not limited to New Hire Sales Training, National and Regional Sales Meetings and ad-hoc trainings. This role will leverage modern tools for learning and will liaise with external agencies as needed.This role is based in Alameda, CA and, per Abbott’s policy, employees are expected to work onsite 5 days/week for regularly scheduled work hours.

What You’ll DoWork with the Sr. Manager, Sales Training as well as other National Sales Trainers (NSTs) to implement national training programs and initiatives.Participate in the development and delivery of training materials.Collaborate with other members of the Sales Training team including Sr. NSTs, Regional Sales Trainers, Marketing and Market Access as needed.Submit materials through the medical/quality/regulatory approval process and following up as needed.Further develop the New Hire Sales Training Program through content revisions of product and sales skills.Contribute and manage content in the sales learning management system (Allego)Stay current on industry and market trends, assessing the potential impact on customer group and designing the training curriculum appropriately.Experience You'll BringRequiredBachelors degree5-7 overall business experience with at least 2 years field sales experienceDemonstrated track record of high achievementExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsVery good overall computer skills; proficient in Microsoft suite of products, advancedapplication in PowerPointPreferred Skills:2+ years in a sales training capacityKnowledge of regulations and standards affecting ADC products and selling practices in device industryVery good knowledge of diagnostic industry, market, and customersApply Now* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
