Work Schedule:

75% FTE, Evening/Night shift with 1 in 3 weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday) and a holiday rotation. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a

RN - Care Team Leader

to:

Direct and lead nursing staff to ensure optimum patient care, efficient operations, and quality service.

Facilitate and participate in daily interprofessional rounds.

Continuously assess unit needs by ensuring adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts.

Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.

General Internal Medicine (F6/5) is a fast-paced medical unit that offers challenging and rewarding nursing opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required

2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit Required

3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit Preferred

Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required

Current CPR/BLS certification Required

National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
