Job Description

The

Business Banker

is responsible for driving business sales and revenue growth to achieve established production goals and financial results. They will work with an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to grow business deposits, loans and other operating revenue through the cross sell of business products to new and existing business clients. This individual must have a strong knowledge of the Business Banking lending processes and practices, as well as have experience selling to business clients. The Business Banker is both an individual producer and expert resource for the branch team in booking their own business.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You'll assess client needs to develop and execute cash flow management plan for clients and prospects to assist them in meeting their financial goals.Executes plan to manage assigned portfolio of clients and prospects in order to maximize the relationship opportunity.Partner with Commercial Banking Group, LOB partners, Banking Center team and the Contact Center to drive business production and increase revenue. Demonstrate expertise with all business products and services.You will be a visible representative for the bank within the community by participating in in community and professional activities in order to enhance the Bank's image and expand personal network of business contacts for development of new business.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or relation field of study and 5-7 years of directly related experience in Small Business Banking Sales or outside consultative business to business sales experience, or 10-12 years of work related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial Services experience business banking sales preferred.
