Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Senior Accountant is responsible for the management and analysis of the organization’s financial records to ensure compliance.The Senior Accountant acts as a coach to junior financial staff and works with the CFO to determine how best to distribute work amongst the financial team for maximum efficiency.The ideal candidate is a mission-driven, detail-oriented, highly collaborative financial professional with exceptional data analysis skills, and a demonstrated talent for the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes in growth environments. Additionally, they have a deep commitment to Covenant House Greater Washington’s mission of serving youth, ages 18-24, who are experiencing homelessness, disconnection and exploitation in the DC area.
