Provide legal counsel in areas including General Municipal Law, Land Use, CEQA, Public Transactions, and Code Enforcement.Draft and review legal documents, ordinances, and contracts related to municipal governance and regulatory compliance.Represent municipal clients in administrative hearings, public meetings, and court proceedings.Advise clients on compliance with state and federal regulations affecting municipal operations.Engage in public transactions and negotiations on behalf of municipal entities.Conduct research and provide strategic guidance on land use, zoning, and environmental regulations.Collaborate with municipal staff, officials, and other stakeholders to deliver sound legal advice.Requirements:
Proven experience working in General Municipal Law or related areas such as Land Use, CEQA, or Code Enforcement.Strong ability to manage multiple legal matters for public agency clients.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.Certifications:
California State Bar License (required).Skills:
Strong knowledge of municipal law, land use, and regulatory frameworks.Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and analysis.Effective negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage complex legal projects independently or within a team.Commitment to ethical practice and client service.Ability to navigate multiple legal fields with a focus on public agency representation.Job Location:
