Associate Attorney - General Liability

A law firm seeks Associate Attorneys to join its general liability practice in the Fairfax office. This role is ideal for attorneys looking for a collaborative team and a flexible work atmosphere.Duties:Handle a wide range of general liability cases from inception through resolution.Represent clients in court, including appearances and motions practice.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Manage discovery, including depositions and document review.Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies.Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates and legal counsel.Requirements:Experience in general liability litigation or related fields.Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Virginia State Bar (required).Skills:Proficiency in litigation case management and legal research tools.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.Flexible work environment with opportunities for professional growth.Supportive and collegial team atmosphere with potential for long-term career development.
