PIP Attorney

Miami office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a PIP attorney with 1 year of PIP insurance defense litigation experience. The candidate will manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial. Responsibilities include:Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.Preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities.Developing clients via relationship-building methods.Traveling to various courthouses and other locations as expected.Meeting monthly billing requirements.Must have knowledge and experience in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigation. Should have knowledge and expertise in all phases of litigation, from pleadings through trials, including taking and defending depositions. Must be a Good Standing Member of the Florida Bar. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Candidates should be technologically confident, very comfortable using process management systems, and effectively utilize available technology and automation.
