First Shift Coordinator- Inventory- Fontana, CA

We are hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team.This full-time hourly position will work Monday-Friday 9am - 5:30pm. (Overtime as needed) This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory accuracy numbers at or above the level of set KPI's.This position will also be expected to educate our team on inventory issues and solutions.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Run regular cycle counts for the warehouseAddress quality hold concerns with Facility Manager, as neededWork in both the WMS and EWM systemInvestigate inventory discrepancies to determine the root causeUpdate training documents to reflect system or process changes relating to inventory managementProvide coaching to employees on proper procedure when deviations are identifiedDaily end-of-shift communication with the Facility ManagerOther assignments/projects as needed to ensure our customer needs are metREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient reading and writing skillsGeneral understanding of material flowAbility to communicate in a clear and concise mannerPerform daily tasks in an organized mannerAbility to work independently with little supervisionAbility to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilitiesDemonstrated excellent customer service skills modeling professional behaviorPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GEDExperience working with SAP, WMSFamiliarity with inventory management systemsDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointPHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for extended periods through hot and cold temperatures.Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse, stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.Ability to turn steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.Must be willing and able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, and slide, push, or pull cases up to 50 pounds.Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.BENEFITS AND TOTAL REWARDS:
