Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float Pool Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 12 Months Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC Preferred Must-Have: - Experience in cardiac drips, TR band removal, and BiPAP usage - Intensive/critical care and emergency department experience preferred Job Description: - Provide nursing care for adult to geriatric patients in various hospital units including post-surgical, medical, PCU stepdown, and emergency room holds. - Float throughout the hospital as needed within the float pool team. - Manage ventilators and administer critical drips effectively. - Utilize systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR in daily operations. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 based on patient acuity. - Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care. - Required to work every other weekend and participate in holiday staffing based on assignment timing. - Must comply fully with all employment and facility requirements to ensure an on-time start. - Unable to return to this facility within a year of departure, if previously employed.
