Summary
Maintain and enhance the Company's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.
Purpose
Position is essential for support to Masonite in areas of staffing and recruitment, creation of policies and procedures and providing consultation to all members of management on legal and other issues. Provide senior management with current and updated advice on all matters of operating the business including developing new ideas and procedures for improving operational efficiencies. Identify, build and develop individual talent within the organization for possible movement to other positions of increasing responsibility. Provide service and leadership in all areas to all employees.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Provide RHRM with all Human Resource support for the Mechanicsburg PA and Selinsgrove Pa facilities.Partner with site leader to develop and implement HR and operational initiatives to retain leadership and plant talentHelp drive Mprove/Mpower process throughout the facilities.Provide RHRM with all necessary information for various reports.Provide staffing of all personnel to the organization by identifying the needs of the facility through position requirements, recruit the most qualified candidates both internally and externally through the interview process and devise retention strategies for all employees.Create and develop policies, practices and procedures as necessary to drive performance management, talent acquisition and development, and employee engagement.Act as a key consultant and advisor to management on all issues of the business by identifying problem areas, proposing solutions to correct any issues, and executing those solutions in a timely manner.Ensure all members of leadership team apply all rules and regulations in a consistent manner by performing periodic audits of employee related actions.Assist all members of management in communicating expected goals and objectives to their direct reports and involve all employees in decision-making processes in which they can have a direct positive impact.Ensure all governmental and regulatory requirements are met by maintaining accurate records, submit all reports in a timely manner and insisting that all employees follow the required legal guidelines without deviation.Ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees, scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances and counseling employees and supervisors.Work closely with Payroll administration organization to ensure compliance with all payroll related issues.Ensure that all levels of management follow all rules and regulations without deviation by leading by example, ensuring that all employees be treated with respect and dignity.Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions as needed.Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent discipline or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resource experience in a manufacturing environment.
