The Business Intelligence Analyst role will transform raw data into insights that shape business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that enhance our commercial operations. The analyst will assist with data sourcing, interpretation, and normalization to ultimately design interactive dashboards and reports to clearly visualize key metrics. Using tools like SQL and Power BI, they will prepare data, build data models, and present findings in compelling ways. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, gather requirements, translate business requirements into technical specs, and then analyze datasets to ensure data accuracy and uncover trends within BI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders including divisional controllers, IT, and business leaders to understand the source data and reporting needs.Work with IT and data management teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of data across BI tools and platforms.Translate business requirements into technical specifications.Think analytically to convert data into actionable forms and present to team members.Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions and reporting tools with interactive dashboards.Integrate and alter the data while connecting and updating it from different sources.Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI.Analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights.Maintain data accuracy and integrity within BI systems.Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.Maintain and support platforms for data analytics.Create charts and data documentation comprising a description of parameters, techniques, relationships, and models.Continuously evaluate and enhance BI processes, tools, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and analysis.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence, forecasting, and performance management.Provide training and support to commercial teams on the effective use of BI tools and the interpretation of data.Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in information systems, data science, finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business intelligence analyst or in a similar role, preferably within a finance or sales organization.Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.Expertise in creating Power BI dashboards a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an exceptional attention to detail.Ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex data in a clear and concise manner.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
