TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has immediate opening for 1st shift Lead Forklift Operator in Summerville, SC.Overall Purpose
The Lead Fork Lift Operator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This role involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining an organized work environment.May Report to
Site Supervisor/Site LeadsResponsibilitiesClient relationship & Business developmentAct as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.OperationsMust perform circle check/walk around on forklift at the beginning of every shift.Verifies that trucks have been properly secured and perform a Blind Tally using a lumberman's count on inbound and outbound shipments, when required.May band/Strap product and verify material is ready for shipment.Remove any old placards.Return/manage dunnage and remove skids/containers.Verify quantities on labels. If a quantity has been changed, record it on the tally.Re-count if a variance is discovered.Verify appropriate placarding and markings on all outgoing shipments.Work as an inspector when required.Make sure the warehouse is organized and that the next load is staged and ready for shipment.Complies with relevant local Health and Safety legislation.Supports company Health and Safety Policies.Organization &

Supervise loading and unloading of trucks and verify that related documents are correctly signed.Managing inventoryTrain and ensure employees are trained by appropriate trainer.Ensure employees are working in a safe manner employing zero tolerance safety principles.TechnicalUtilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.Operating and managing technical equipment.Collect & analyze daily workload for all inbound, outbound, repack production, and put away.Make employee work adjustments as necessary, with manager guidance.Ensure standard processes and/or procedures are followed.Investigate inventory issues and other customer concerns with Operations management staff.Engage in special projects, time studies, and other analyses or projects as required.Communicate personnel issues or possible employee disciplinary actions with manager.Report process- or tool issues and/or equipment problems to the manager.OtherAny other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilities
