Purpose:
As a Technology Development Program Manager at FormFactor, you will be at the forefront of coordinating the development and release of our cutting-edge probe card solutions as part of the Product Lifetime Process (PLC). This dynamic role involves managing multiple initiatives led by our R&D and business teams, building project schedules, negotiating with customers, and leading an internal team to achieve our ambitious objectives. You will tackle diverse challenges, formulating creative solutions for technology dependency chain initiatives. Your proactive approach will drive process improvements, coordinate customer management meetings, ensure internal alignment, and deliver clear communication to target audiences. You will also make strategic and tactical decisions for projects, including resource allocation and prioritization, to align with customer requirements and budgetary constraints. Taking initiative to drive problem resolution with the project team is critical to your success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the Product Lifetime Process (PLC) with confidence and expertise.Develop compelling business cases and justifications for projects.Manage all program details, including charters, internal alignment, and resource allocation.Own and control program financial details.Lead task forces to drive project success.Provide bi-monthly updates on program management progress.Education, Experience, and Skills:
Preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.Education level: Minimum of 3 years as an undergraduate, Master's degree preferred.Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Self-starter with a proactive attitude.PMP certification is preferred.Data collection and analysis skills are a plus.Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and tools, such as JMP, is a plus.Ability to work effectively within a team to deliver results.
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, Oregon is between $122,600 and $160,965. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
