Exciting Opportunity for Faculty Orthopedic Surgeon in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Are you a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon seeking a rewarding faculty position in a beautiful mountain town of North Carolina? Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine invite applications for a full-time faculty partner to join an established, busy practice in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Position Overview:
Location:
Wilkesboro, North Carolina. 45 minutes from Winston Salem, 30 minutes from Boone, and 60 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina.Clinical Focus:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience treating conditions related to the hand in addition to general orthopedics is preferred, but not required.Teaching Opportunities:
Engage in orthopedic resident and fellow teaching, as well as participate in clinical and laboratory research if interested.Collaboration:
Join a team of 90 faculty in the Department, 4 surgeon faculty, 1 non operative physician and 3 APPs in practice ensuring seamless referrals and collaboration.Call Expectations:
Call duties include general orthopedic call 6 days per month with the support of APPs and fellows.Support:
Benefit from the support of 3 advanced practice providers (APP) and active clinical support.Qualifications :
Certification:
Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.License:
