- One of New England's busiest and best forward thinking Service Departments is preparing and seeking a highly motivated career minded, professional in the role of Service Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Service Director, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team of skilled technicians and service advisors, fostering a positive and results-oriented work environment.
The Service Manager role is responsible for overseeing daily operations including:
Team Leadership and Development: Training, motivating, and mentoring service department staff to achieve individual and departmental goals.Performance Management: Monitoring and evaluating team performance through reports, tracking systems, and customer surveys.Quality Control: Ensuring high-quality service repairs and minimizing comebacks through periodic job inspections.Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.Technical Expertise: Staying abreast of manufacturer policies, warranty procedures, and industry advancements.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Technology Proficiency: Mastering and implementing all Service Department technology.Forward Thinking Preparation: The industry is changing and Toyota is the forefront of tomorrow's technology today. Candidate will need to prepare for all facets of Toyota's Electrical Technology and business process for service business cycle operations.Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive management.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Professional demeanor and presentation.Pay & Benefits
