Job Description:
WLI is seeking an ISSE with skilled expertise in the various aspects of U.S. Government information security with focus in Linux Security Engineering. You will apply your skills to secure and harden Linux-based systems across various platforms and implement advanced threat protection, detection and compliance monitoring. You will implement security baselines, perform audits and monitor compliance to minimize attack surface. Your experience should include DISA STIG configuration, Scanning (SCAP & Nessus/ACAS), eMass, Windows Server/Workstation Access Control and Identity Management and their application to effective implementation of security measures to reduce risk. Duties will range from conducting risk assessments and designing security solutions to creating and maintaining security policies and procedures. You will also leverage multiple security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and active defense measures, in order to provide effective security for organization information infrastructure and government solutions. You must write well - expect this as a core job requirement.
Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field is essential.Minimum 5 years performing as a domain, system or network administrator.Minimum 10 years performing information systems security engineering.Minimum DoD Baseline Certifications for Level II: IAT / IAM / IASAEPrefer Linux+, RHCSA or equivalent certification.Required Skills:
Design and implement security measures; monitor systems for signs of cyber attacks, and quickly respond to security incidents .Conduct audits and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of security breaches.Apply U.S. Government Information Assurance (IA) requirements and prepare IA artifacts.Solid understanding of network security equipment and methods
